Cloud Document Execution and Artifact Reliability

Document creation now has a more dependable execution path, clearer cost controls, better recovery, and stronger artifact delivery.

Cloud Document Execution and Artifact Reliability

We moved the foundations of expensive document work onto a more durable execution path and tightened the connection between planning, progress, artifacts, and credits.

A stronger document workflow

  • Added a structured execution lifecycle for document and presentation creation, revision, export, and regeneration.
  • Improved clarification, inline editing, artifact progress, result review, and handoff into Co-Writer.
  • Improved DOCX and PDF conversion, template fidelity, file storage, and download recovery.

Clearer cost and recovery behavior

  • Added cost estimates, approved limits, reservations, usage reporting, settlement, and refund handling for expensive work.
  • Improved credit and entitlement checks so execution decisions use authoritative account state.
  • Added safer retry and idempotency behavior around worker failures and interrupted runs.

A dependable private execution plane

  • Added authenticated private worker communication, health checks, database-pool safeguards, and production readiness checks.
  • Improved dispatch and cloud execution so document work does not silently fall back to an incomplete local path.
  • Added server-side execution state and recovery actions that keep users informed when work is delayed or interrupted.
The result is a more trustworthy path from a request to a finished, downloadable artifact.
